World Cup 2010 ended with a completely unique finale in T1. The five finalists in the world showed controlled and beautiful riding and ended two days in a tremendous style.
Winner of T1: Johann R. Skulason, Hnokki frá Fellskoti (8.17), 2: Julie Christiansen and Gydja frá Skipaskaga (7.67) 3: Agnar Snorri Stefansson, Mist van der Waaldijk (7.61,) 4: Frauke Schenzel, Teigur vom Kronshof (7.33), 5: Dorte Rasmussen, Gumi (7.17), 6: Elias Arnason, Jor frá Gygjarholi.
Winner of Top Reiter Junior Match: Norway!
It was a very strong Norwegian equipage, who won the individual junior match. The final of the individual match took place in a packed arena of seething national-soccer-atmosphere. Norwegian Elise Lundhaug rode an enthusiastic Hvinur frá Holtsmula, a former world champion of multiple T1 with his former rider, John R. Skulason. Danish Ditte Søeborg on Dar frá Kjartansstödum was right behind her and was the best fast tølt, where she in great jubilation harvested 3 eights.
Magnus Skulason continue in F1 A-finale
Swedish Magnus Skulason triumphed in the B final of the fF1 and thereby gained access to the prestigious A-finals later today.

Exciting V1 and F1 selections
Then an exciting V1 selection is over. On the top three: Lucia Koch and Jarl frá Midkrika (7.13), Jolly Schrenk and Gandur von der Igelsburg (7.13), Frauke Schenzel and Tigull vom Kronshof (7.03). In F1 is John R. Skulason at a first position, followed by Julie Christiansen and Stian Pedersen.

Jarl will be there with offsprings
And for certain: One of the world's most successful stallions, Jarl frá Midkrika - with progeny -, will be there! Jarl is owned by 24-year-old Lucia Koch, and the equipage will come all the way from Austria and participate in the World Cup. It is quite exceptional that Jarl is now focussed as a stallion.

Exciting lecture by Sigurdur Sæmundsson (”Siggi Sæm”)
Siggi har joined the world of Icelandic horses for more than 40 years - as one of the most active.
He is a breeder (at the famous stud farm Holtsmúla), a rider, a farrier, a trainer, and an instructor. In addition, Siggi has been the leader of the Icelandic national team at the WM for about 20 years and a member of the FEIF sports-committee for more than 25 years.
Siggi will tell us about his many experiences and adventures – and about his thaughts of the future for breeding and riding.
No doubt, an extremely exciting and inspiring lecture.

The starting lists are abounding with medal winners
We are extremely proud of being able to present a ”string of pearls” - top riders and WM medal winners at the World Cup 2010. The standard is soaring with familiar names as Johann R. Skulason, Stian Pedersen, Uli Reber, Lucia Koch, Tina Kalmo Pedersen, Julie Christiansen, Frauke Schenzel, Samanthe Leidesdorff, and plenty more on the starting lists.
